Looking to spice up your résumé? SU AMA recognizes its most active contributors at the end of each quarter and academic year. Check out what it takes to be one of SU AMA’s superstar members and have your name listed on our website!

 

Quarterly Awards:

  • Marketer of the Quarter

    • ​Awarded to a member who exemplifies the ideals for which SU AMA stands: community impact, leadership, service, and academic excellence. Nominated by SU AMA board members.

 

  • Rockstar Committee Member

    • ​Awarded to committee members who have gone above and beyond the expectations of the committee.  Nominated by committee head.

 

Yearly Awards:

  • AMA Student Marketer of the Year

    • Awarded to one member who will be entered into an international competition to recognize top marketing students worldwide on the bases of service to AMA, community impact, leadership, and academic excellence. Nominated by SU AMA board members each January, with winners recognized at the International Collegiate Conference in April. This is the highest award AMA has to bestow and can greatly spice up any résumé.

 

  • AMA EBSCO Marketing Scholar Award

    • Awarded to juniors who have demonstrated leadership within the SU AMA chapter and a dedication to marketing. Juniors are invited to apply for an annual scholarship ranging from $2,000-$5,000. Check with an officer for more information on the application process.

 

  • Most Active Member

    • Awarded to the member who earns the most attendance points over the course of the academic year. Points are awarded for each general meeting, speaker series meeting, tour, workshop, and social attended.

 

  • Most Dedicated Member

    • Awarded to a member who comes to meetings engaged, actively attends a variety of chapter-planned events, and proactively seeks out opportunities to further SU AMA. Nominated by SU AMA board members.
