Hi guys, my name is Lana and I am currently a Senior at Seattle University. I am currently majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Global business. Joining the AMA executive team has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone as I practice applying my theoretical learning to real world experiences. Planning events such as corporate tours taught me how to communicate in the business world and being a part of the planning and execution process of planning tech bowl, meet the marketing experts, and fundraisers truly taught me what it means to work as a team and leverage each other's strengths to succeed.  I also recently studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and it has been one of the most life changing experiences of my life. I learned a new side to global business and I learned what it truly means to expand your worldview and step outside of your comfort zone in order to grow as a person and a student. As I step out into the world this spring I am excited to see how I can further apply my theoretical learnings to my profession. I am also beyond excited to use my global business knowledge as a tool to help businesses succeed.
